BG-notfound.net is an impulsive (spontaneous) project with the aim of sparking up interest in a pavilion for Bulgarian art and architecture at the Venice Biennale and its subsequent (re-)integration into the international art and culture scene. On one side the wish is that Bulgarian artists and architects will be given the opportunity and motivation for a closer interaction with like-minded people and on the other side the world’s perception of Bulgaria may be enriched.
At the same
time BG-notfound.net is an answer and an indicator! The question is presently
missing... the answer may evoke the question... BUT... there is no answer
without a preceding question. The question is the initial spark to set
the process in motion. BG-notfound.net indicates a „state-of-being“.
In provoking the question the „state-of-being“ becomes unstable
and requires variation and a simultaneous creative reaction.
This reaction is a transition from one [unstable] state to another [stable]
state. The expected reaction should turn:
the unreal into the real
2D into 3D
notfound into found
The start of this Impulsive Project and the subsequent reaction "not-found into found" will take place on the 8’th of September at the 10th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice.
