DESIGN CONCEPT
The integration in the urban fabric
The integration in the grown urban fabric (lengthwise north-south orientation)
gives the site a penetrability in that direction. That fact allows also
to continues the green corridor for the area south of perfectastrasse
along the subway
TYPOLOGY AND FINDING OF SHAPE
beside urbanistic aspects the orientation and clear form of the buildings
allows to respond to the difficult general conditions (noise, electromagnetic
field) of the site in a pragmatic way, If necessary also with special
design features and arrangements in occupancy.
The clear composition of the buildings develops an interesting area between
a high grad of individual und user-oriented structures inside und the
façade outside, which shows the inner life. This structure-façade
is a condition for the development of future settings, which must react
to a lot of specific needs.
The design concept is based on a further development of the “anonym”
high-rising apartment buildings to a individual residential housing. This
includes the configuration of the spaces and the individual aspects of
using the building.
The two typological similar buildings gets two different prioritise, according
to their location on the site.
- Miscellaneous combinations of residential and working spaces. (BUILDING
1)
- Lifestyle orientated individual housing with specific shared facilities
and public services. (BUILDING 2)
BUILDING 1 (beside U6 Subway Station):
RESIDENTIAL + WORKING
The flexibility of the building-structure enables the residential and
working spaces to interlock and float into one another. The structure
is kept open to be able to react to future settings. The orientation of
the residential and office spaces is according to the general conditions
on the site. The outstanding studio- and office lofts beside the subway
are an ideal representation space.
BUILDING 2 (beside the residential area):
RESIDENTIAL + WELLNESS
The combination residential and wellness brings a lot of synergy effects
for the “theme” shared facilities public services (like a
gym, hot tub, sauna, spa, etc) in the front unit next to the Perfectastrasse.
The hart of the construction is the several storeys high “lobby”
with different shared facilities.
